History

JoAustralia has contributed in the development and service delivery of reinsurance products on global scale for over 25 years. In 1989, Munir Wahhab a reinsurance guru since 1974 invested his worldwide experience in Australia, Europe and Jordan to launch Australia Insurance Services Ltd.

During the years the company thrived to expand and establish a regional market share offering premium insurance and reinsurance solutions to satisfy the need of a considerable number of financial, economic institutions and insurance companies.

Our clients put their trust in growing JoAustralia to discuss terms, conditions & arrange programs with international reinsurance markets including Lloyd’s Syndicates. It flourished on the basis of its outstanding reputation and words-of-mouth between the satisfied clients leading to the generation of newer clients.

JoAustralia combined the camel and kangaroo in its corporate logo embodying its roots and connecting the Jordanian authenticity to the Australian Professionalism and modernization.

Nowadays, JoAustralia has become one of the well-known brokers operating worldwide with branches in Jordan and Palestine, in addition to new offices to be established soon in other locations.

Focused marketing efforts have also strengthened our broker relationships and broadened our customer base, which has resulted in the development of new products tailored to meet the under-served needs of specific markets.

For 2015, new initiatives are in the pipeline concerning reinsurance opportunities in order to bank on the momentum we are envisioning to result from our planned strategic actions.
